They were awarded Gold for their Traditional Beef Sausages, a reflection of classic recipes and the quality of their locally sourced beef. Their Traditional Pork Sausages also received Gold, celebrated for their seasoning, flavour and texture. Their Boneless Leg Ham achieved Gold as well, showcasing the time, skill and care invested in their smallgoods production. In addition, they received a respected Silver Award in the highly competitive Bacon category.
These achievements have earned Meat on Maitland a place in the NSW State Finals, where they will compete against the best in the state.
