Founded in 2013 by Lucy and Hugh, The Golden Whisk is a Perth-based artisan confectionery brand specializing in handcrafted, gourmet sweets designed as an elevated alternative to everyday candy.
The business began shortly after the founders returned from an overseas holiday eager to leave behind the standard 9-to-5 routine. Upon spotting an opportunity to acquire a boutique fudge-making business in Wooroloo, they took the leap: Lucy left her public service career to focus full-time on confectionery production, while Hugh joined her in reshaping the brand’s identity and product line.
Today, all Golden Whisk confectionery is hand-crafted by Lucy in Perth, Western Australia, using premium ingredients to create distinct flavors and textures. The lineup has expanded well beyond traditional fudge to include:
